Rules and Regulations
Teams are required to have matching numbered uniforms. Only indoor shoes are allowed. Shin guards are required.
Coaches/team managers are the representative for the team and are responsible for passing on any information that Real Mundial FC needs to communicate to each team. The coach/team manager is also responsible for ensuring that his team is aware of the rules of the game as well as Battlefield Sportsplex rules and policies.
All players must have a Real Mundial FC Player Card in order to play in any division. Player Cards will be given to the coach prior to the first game. A valid age verification document with date of birth is required to obtain a Player Card such as a passport, state ID or birth certificate.
Referees will collect the player cards at the beginning of each game and returned to the coach at the end of each game. If a player receives a red card during a game, that player card will be confiscated and held with the Leagues officials until the player has served their suspension time. The card will then be returned to the coach. Real Mundial FC has the right to deny any player a Player Card.
Maximum team roster is 16 players. Players must have played in at least 1 regular season game before being allowed to play in the play offs.
A player may only be only be rostered to one team. If a non-registered player is put on a roster or found playing on the field, this will cause the team to forfeit any games in which the non-registered player has participated. It is the responsibility of the coach/team manager to know which players are rostered. Real Mundial FC reserves the right to check the player card of any player on a roster at any time to ensure teams have followed this policy. Mandatory roster checks will be conducted for all playoff and championship games or at any time at the discretion of the league.
If a team suspects an unrostered player or other illegal activity associated with other team, they should inform the league officials immediately. If this activity is discovered after the game is completed, the team should file a formal protest to the League Officials.
A game is considered “official” after one completed half of play. If there is an unforeseen circumstance such as a power outage etc. the current score will stand as official once a half has been played.
Coach/team managers must notify the league officials of Real Mundial FC of their intent to forfeit. Real Mundial FC will then notify the other team. If a team shows up to play and the opposing team does not show up, then the team present will win by forfeit. The team that does not show up will still be responsible to pay referee fees if prior notice is not given. In the case of a forfeited game, players from the teams are normally allowed to use the field, to practice, scrimmage, etc. However, Real Mundial FC reserves the right to use the field, at that time, for other activities at the discretion of management.
Forfeiture will be incurred if a team fails to field the minimum number of players (4 player minimum) within five (5) minutes from the start of the game clock.
Game clock will not stop once it has started, and will not be reset if a team shows up late. Any team no-show will result in a 2-0 victory for opposing team. The game will not be rescheduled.
After the first forfeit, the team that forfeited will receive a warning. If a team forfeits three times in one session, the team will be pulled from the league and registration money will be lost.
Individuals are expected to play within the rules of the game and to the best of their ability to avoid causing injury to themselves and other persons using the facility.
Referees appointed to officiate each game have complete authority on the field of play, and their decisions are final. Officiating will be monitored and assessed periodically. Real Mundial FC will not overturn any calls made by the referee during the course of a game. Each team is responsible for paying the referee fee. The referee fee is $10 per team.
Complaints regarding referees should be submitted in writing via email. Please include the game date, time, and field number, and your name and the name of your team. Real Mundial FC will review complaints written 24 hours after a game. No verbal or written complaints will be accepted immediately following a game.

The Rules below are either substituted for, or supplemental to FIFA soccer rules. Any situations not covered below fall under the jurisdiction of FIFA.
Real Mundial FC does not guarantee areas for teams to warm-up prior to their games. Teams will have approximately two minutes to warm-up prior to the start of the game. There is no guarantee that these two minutes will be available.

Substitutions are free and unlimited as long as such substitutions do not interfere with the flow of the game. Each substitution must wait until the player they are substituting for is off the field before they can enter. Teams that violate this rule will be given a warning by the referee for having too many players on the field.
Out of Bounds
Turf Field 1 – The ball is in play throughout the arena, including the walls/glass, side netting and the ceiling netting. Any ball touching the wall/ netting above the goal is considered out of bounds .
All free kicks are direct. On all free kicks, the defensive team must remain ten feet from the ball until the ball is kicked. Only one whistle will be sounded for free kicks.
Slide tackling is not allowed.
Center Line Rule:
The center line rule is in effect whenever the keeper is in possession of the ball with his hands. Prior to crossing the center line, the distributed ball must first touch the floor outside of the box, a side wall, a teammate, or an opposing player. The center line rule will apply to drop-kicks as well throws by the keeper. If the ball crosses the center line without touching one of the above, a violation results in a direct free kick from the center line. If the keeper dribbles the ball outside of the box, the center line rule no longer applies.
Penalty kicks shall be taken from the penalty area near the top the keeper box. When the whistle is blown, the kicker may take one (1) step necessary to make his/her direct kick.

If a player receives two yellow cards in a game (automatic red) the team shall play the rest of the game a player down. Any player that receives two yellow cards in a game shall be sent completely off the playing area and will not be allowed to return.
Red Card Policy: Any player that receives a red card shall be sent completely off the playing area and will not be allowed to return and suspended for a minimum 1 game.
A player or coach that is red carded during a game by a referee will automatically be suspended for the next game of the league. Any team that causes a game to be called by the referee before time has expired due to unsportsmanlike conduct or extreme unsafe play shall forfeit that game with the score remaining as it stands at the time of the forfeit.
Real Mundial FC has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY toward fighting. Anyone fighting will be ejected and banned from further participation.
